36 weeks or more of general english and/or exam preparation
it is for long-term students who would like to improve their english and prepare for an international exam.
- Students who study for 36 weeks or more automatically join our academic year programme. This has a lower price: please see our dates and fees. Regular tests and tutorials make sure the student moves to a higher level as soon as they are ready.
- We will put you in our General English programme until you reach a strong intermediate level. Then you will be more able to attend Exam Preparation classes for the Cambridge IELTS exam, or FCE or CAE. Please note that course fees do not include the exam entrance fee. These fees currently stand at arounD £105 for IELTS anD £115 for FCE and CAE
- During the course you work on all four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking English.
- Both grammar and vocabulary are also important components of the lessons.
- Morning classes are taken alongside other GE students.
- The afternoon classes are taken with students studying for the same exam. These lessons focus on exam preparation.
- Regular revision tests and tutorials are given.
- Homework is given every day.
- The tutorial process also ensures students are moved up to the next level as soon as they are ready.
